So we are looking at her pictures and chart and learn that her "special need" is a cleft lip and palate. Her lip has been repaired already when she was only 9 months old (and without a mommy or daddy to hold her!), and her palate will need to be repaired after she gets home. Otherwise, she is healthy and by the looks of her pictures, has a little spicy attitude. Which is what they say about babies from Hunan - look out. I don't blame her though. Look at the outfits they make her wear!
We still have not idea as to when we can go to get her. Of course, as our luck would have it, the damn Olympics are smack dab in the middle of when we should be going to get her. There is no official word out of China yet as to how they are going to handle foreign adoptions, but one would assume they would stop all travel for the three weeks of the games - (really - THREE Weeks of stupid sports? Come on. Who cares!!!") . So, once again we wait.
